On my early morning walk today, I noticed something peculiar. Well, I thought it was peculiar. It’s Independence Day, but I didn’t see many flags in front of people’s houses. We don’t have one (because Wolf has hidden it somewhere in our garage, and if I ask him where it is, he probably won’t remember). And the only flag on our block is this one, in front of our neighbor’s house.

I wonder if this means anything. Does the lack of flags reflect some deeper sentiment?
Happy July Fourth!

OR….it could be (like me) that everyone was so busy having fun they completely forgot to put their flags out. Sheesh Mari – chill out girl! You’ve been living on the left coast too long! LOL Enjoy the rest of your weekend.
Hmm… who knows. It wasn’t long ago when you couldn’t go anywhere without seeing the flag everywhere (right after 9/11). Now, may people have taken their flags down again. I love your photo shot. Very nice.

I think you’re on to something.
