We’re in the midst of what’s called “June Gloom” here in southern California – when a thick marine layer floats in from the Pacific and hangs over our heads. When we step out to walk the dog in the mornings, we feel a light mist kissing our cheeks. We know the white hot days of summer are nearby, and we enjoy this greyness as much as we can. Everything looks greener, the streets are quieter and we get to wear our fleeces for just a few more weeks.
It was Wolf’s birthday yesterday. I think he would be upset if I published his age here, so I won’t, but in recent days, I heard him moan more than once that he feels old. I’m not sure what he means by that. I’m older than him, but I don’t feel old. Just older. That’s all.

Happy Birthday to your Wolf! (love that name)
I feel the same way about age too Mari. A wise old friend once said, “enjoy whatever age you are because as you get older you will always look back thinking of how young you were at “that” age.”
Enjoy your fleece weather!
I like the cooler weather, so I wouldn’t mind it. I love the photos. Beautiful scenery.
Happy Birthday, Wolf.
Best to all,
Paz
